FandomCodex has no accounts, no cookies, no ads, no analytics and no tracking scripts. We don’t keep logs of your visits. Here is everything that is stored, and where.

Kept in your browser only

These stay on your device. We never see them, and clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes them.

Feedback you send

When you use the Feedback button we save your message, the kind you picked, the page you were on and its title, the time, your screen size and your browser type (its user-agent). That’s all. We never store your IP address: a scrambled (hashed) version is used only to stop spam, and it is deleted within a day. Feedback is kept in private storage that only we can read, and used only to fix and improve the site. Please don’t include personal details you don’t want us to have.

Services your browser talks to

Some tools fetch live data straight from free public services. Like any website you visit, they see your IP address and browser type when your browser contacts them; they don’t get anything else from us.

For live Twitch status, our own server asks Twitch about the channel name you enter. Your browser never talks to Twitch’s API and no Twitch login or key is involved.

Hosting and links

The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services, which processes requests in order to deliver the pages. The Ko-fi button and links to other sites take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
